Ms. Assigal joined Reed Law Corporation, PC in 2009. She has counseled real estate, corporate and entrepreneurial clients on complex corporate and property related matters. Ms. Assigal has broad and deep experience in real estate and corporate law matters including complex mergers and acquisitions and real estate acquisition, disposition, development, title and survey review, leasing and finance.
Before joining Reed Law, Ms. Assigal was, and continues to be, general counsel for two closely held corporations in Orange County and Los Angeles. Prior to that role, she was an attorney with Latham & Watkins LLP in the finance and real estate department in Orange County and the real estate department of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld in Century City. When practicing law in New York, Ms. Assigal was with the law firm of Clifford Chance working primarily on international secured transactions and private debt offerings.
Ms. Assigal is a member of the state bars of both California and New York. She graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
